When we speak about the village around children and young people, professionals play a key part in supporting families.

I’m passionate about empowering professionals with the skills and knowledge to help them support children, young people and their families.

Participating in training is one thing, but at the end of the day, the results matter.

When professionals participate in my training sessions, I measure changes in participants’ knowledge, confidence, and attitudes.

Assessment and evaluation is a key part of the training offered – it’s about making sure content is valuable, informative, and builds skills.

Here are the results from a training package on ‘Building awareness of the social/emotional development of Kindergarten children’:

  • 100% of participants demonstrated increased knowledge of diagnoses that impact social/emotional development of Kindergarten children.

  • 93% of participants reported increased confidence in managing a meltdown or shutdown.

  • 97% of participants demonstrated increased knowledge in understanding how the brain develops in the first five years of life.

I use my clinical experience and research knowledge to create education packages for:

  • Allied Health Professionals;

  • Nursing and Medical Professionals;

  • Teachers and Education Professionals;

  • Support Workers;

  • Non-Government Organisations; and

  • Corporations

Live and on-demand workshops, seminars, and education sessions are continuously being offered.

We can also work with your organisation to tailor training and education that is unique to your team.

Training topics include:

  • What’s co-regulation, why is it important and how can clinicians harness it as a therapeutic tool?

  • A Guide for General Practitioners, Paediatricians and Psychiatrists.

  • Using the power of neuroscience to build skills in early childhood.
